If the name, Darkest Sex Dungeon is ringing some bells right now there is a very good reason for that. This is not a “unique” game if you know what I am saying. What we have here is a very popular, well known, and 100 percent NSFW mod of the very popular RPG, Darkest Dungeon. That is already a petty damn fine RPG so adding in some hardcore hentai action to the mix was something I was more than willing to take a look at.

Survive The Horror!

The “story” of the game is what you have with Darkest Dungeon, but as the name implies, Darkest Sex Dungeon is taking things to a whole new level. I do not think that the story is the best thing about this game, but the premise of being a hero, looking for loot, powers, and saving the day is really cool.

Is This Art?

The default version of Darkest Dungeon is a fantastic looking game. It has some of the most amazing 2D artwork that you will ever see. It has a real “comic book” kind of style to it and a very high end one at that. As this is a mod, the visuals are a major part of the selling point here. The mod maker has done a ton of work making this game look as sexy as possible. Pretty much everyone now is naked and even the NPCs in villages have now been replaced by naked girls!Do not think of this as a “hentai” game. What the aim of Darkest Sex Dungeon is that they took an already great game and just added a ton of sexiness to it. The backgrounds have had some changes as well and in all as far as the visuals go, I feel a great job was done here.

We Are Heroes!

The gameplay is largely unchanged from what Darkest Dungeon offered and that is not a bad thing as this is one of the best RPGs around. The basics are you have a team of heroes and you go through a dungeon fighting with all manner of foes. It is very well done, takes a long time to get the hang of and it provides you with a very steep challenge.What this Darkest Sex Dungeon mod is offering is more of the same, but it does add in a few things which I think are cool. The biggest change is that your characters can now have all 7 character skills at the same time. It makes getting through the battles much easier and it in many ways makes the game more fun if you ask me.

As far as mods go, I think this is a good one. I like how the mastermind of the mod did not go too crazy in changing the core of the game. They have kept all of the things that made Darkest Dungeon work and instead focused on changing the visuals. The work done here is great and if you like your RPGs to have a whole lot of nakedness and sexiness to them then you cannot go wrong with what Darkest Sex Dungeon is offering.

• The mod is easy to install
• Plenty of naked chicks are in this game!
• The core game has not been tinkered with
• Overall, I liked this and thought it was interesting

• The game overall has a very steep learning curve
• Not sure it is going to be for everyone

Featuring a huge amount of psychological stresses due to adventuring, Darkest Dungeon brings a challenging yet gothic style role playing game. The challenge for your character is to get your Ancestor’s Estate back from your foes. The steps are simple, recruit, train and lead your team to fight battles and win back your land!, Though it us not too simple.

The game includes a series of locations including twisted forests, ruined crypts, long lost warrens and the list goes on. The main challenge is not to battle with your enemies but to fight off psychological stresses including stress, hunger, disease and beyond to survive these times and situations of dark. Fight off fear, paranoia, stress with the best affliction system offered in the game, select your heroes from 16 playable characters given to you either be a doctor, plague, leper or more. Rest in Tavern or Abbey to keep stress at levels to low, get involved in the game through the narration system to announce your wins and failures. You can camp around the forest and other areas to heal wounds of your own or your team members and deliver inspiring speeches to build motivation among your team members and to get back your estate!
